March ‘24

A little look towards the future …

Finally, March is here. I seriously love this month, most of all because the weather starts getting more sunny, I feel like things start to become more optimistic in general and my trenchcoat becomes my most worn coat once again. I love seeing the flowers start to grow and everything bloom back into life. Also, spring fashion is something I look forward to each year. It’s so fun and fresh and exciting. This March is also particularly exciting for me because I have planned a trip to London which I’m super excited about! Don’t worry, I will be posting about that. Needless to say, here is this Month’s inspiration post!

I’ve Been Loving/Doing…

  • Reading… I’m currently reading “Bunny” by Mona Awad (actually I started it a while ago and still need to finish it) but seriously a great read, especially if you like an unreliable narrator and blurriness between what is real and what is not. Super interesting - 4.5/5. I’m also re-reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelly which is one of my favourite books of all time, for sure recommend - 5/5.

  • Meditation… recently I’ve rediscovered meditation for myself and it’s become a new part of my morning routine. 5 min after waking up has had such a positive outcome on the rest of my day and it helps me deal with my anxiety or just any kind of stress in general.

  • Matcha Lattes… A new place opened up in Zürich last month, Babu’s Bakery on Theaterstrasse and if you know you know. The place is so cute and has such a lovely interior and the Matcha Lattes - to die for. Seriously good.

  • Listening/Watching… I love watching Mina Lee’s fashion videos/ video essays on YouTube and if you like fashion and historical fashion like me, then her videos are a must-watch. She also has a podcast on Spotify (Highbrow) which is also fun to listen to if you’re often on the go.

  • Amy Dury… As an Art History minor, I love finding interesting current artists I hadn’t previously known about. This week I stumbled across Amy Dury’s page, a UK artist who works with film stills and photograph figures to create beautiful, super colourful and visually stunning paintings. Worth checking out her Website or her Instagram for some visual inspiration!

My March Mini Wishlist

Ugh so difficult to make a small wishlist, but here are two things that have recently been on my mind…

The Sandy Liang Ballerina Earrings

Ever since I saw these earrings last year I’ve wanted them real bad, but living in Switzerland means high taxes for buying stuff from other countries online :(

Told myself that I’ll finally buy them for myself if I see them in London.

Le Tanneur Julliette Mini Bag in Tan

This leather bag is so, so cute. I literally cannot get over it. With a long strap, it can be worn over the shoulder or as a cross-body bag as well. I just think it looks so effortlessly chic, and with big bags being so popular (don’t get me wrong, still love big bags) this bag feels like a breath of fresh air.

Sézane Paula Babies in Black Varnish

These shoes are the perfect mix between a ballerina and a Mary Jane. Can be dressed up or down - literally perfect.

Happy Month to you all. That’s it for March. Catch ya soon!
