Jewellery Brands I’m Tempted to Gatekeep (but won’t)

I am an accessories girly. Sunglasses, scarves, belts. But honestly, it is jewellery that has my heart entirely. I adore all things shiny, and sparkly and that glisten and catch the light. I firmly believe that the right piece of jewellery will make any outfit a thousand times better and can totally elevate your entire look. However, nice, unique and affordable jewellery is not easy to find and come by. As I am constantly on the hunt for new pieces to add to my collection, I have gathered a list of my favourite brands to shop for jewellery, that are not only super cool and unique but also won’t break the bank (at least not that hard). For all my fellow magpies out there, here are my top ten jewellery brands!

Disclaimer - All brands mentioned here are NOT sponsored and this is all solely my own opinion.

Simuero

I seriously don’t know what the Spanish brands are doing in the jewellery department but it is literal magic because this is not the only Spanish brand on my list. First up is Simuero, a small independent Jewellery brand, who have the most incredible pieces in 925 sterling silver or 18K gold-plated sterling silver. All of their pieces are meticulously handcrafted in Spain using local and recycled materials. The designs are all super creative and unique and although the pieces are on the pricier side of this list, they are definitely worth the investment! I am completely obsessed with their newest El Fruto collection, which focuses on the beauty and vibrancy of fruits! A beautiful (and sustainable) addition to any collection!

Mais X Frida

Imagine yourself in a beach paradise with the sun warming your body and the sand between your toes. What jewellery are you wearing? I can answer this for you. It’s going to be Mais X Frida. Barcelona-based brand Mais X Frida knows what they are doing when it comes to jewellery. With beautiful earrings, necklaces and rings either gold or silver plated brass or beaded, the jewellery here gives off more of a light, beachy and feminine vibe. Dainty yet still statement, any earrings or necklace will add a delicate touch to any outfit (or swimwear). Make sure to check out their cute clothing whilst browsing their website!

NINFA Handmade

If you’re looking for super cute, handcrafted glass bead jewellery, look no further. NINFA Handmade, a Portuguese brand created in 2017, has got you covered. From adorable glass fruit earrings to beaded bracelets and chokers, you can find it all here. A true glass bead treasure chest! Very colourful and fun, every piece is designed by Agustina Fortunato and created by artisans and artists. Personally, their antique sun stud earrings are on my wishlist!

Tea & Tequila

When I first saw Tea & Tequila on Instagram I think I went feral. The magpie inside me screamed. You might recognize their jewellery, for the brand is pretty popular right now on socials, especially TikTok and Instagram. Beautiful and sparkly necklaces and earrings, embedded with pearls and stones of all different colours, what is there not to like? Organic shapes and fun, bright colours combine contemporary British style with quality Mexican craftsmanship, producing a fabulous result! Offering styles in gold and silver, all their pieces are stunning and for sure worth checking out (especially during sales).

Apreels

With a ring type and design for everyone, Apreels is the place to go if you need any kind of finger bling. Slim and dainty to chunky and statement the rings here are eye-catching and quality with prices ranging from 32 to 230 euros. Beautifully made to order, the jewellery here is produced in Valencia, Spain. Currently on my wishlist is their Placas set, a three-in-one ring stack, which is available in both 925 sterling silver and gold plated. I also adore their magical stone ring designs, with lots of different stone variations from Sapphire to Peridot.

Creu

If you’re on the hunt for simple, clean designs, perfect for stacking up, check out Creu. More on the smaller side, the jewellery here is simple yet perfect, especially if you’re looking for earring stacks or basic rings to add to your fingers. Most earrings here are available as pairs or single units, so you can buy whatever it is you need to fit all of your piercings. my favourites are their Thick Click Hoop Earrings, which are available in three different sizes and in either Silver or Gold. A great place to go if you want good earrings for a really good price.

Knature the Label

As seen in Vogue and Haarper’s Bazaar, Knature the Label is a beautifully and sustainably created brand by self-taught jewellery Aneshka Boozer. The brand, which creates jewellery with intention focuses on bohemian-style designs. Apart from earrings, necklaces and rings, this cute small label also offers the most beautiful waistchains and anklets. For the free spirit, simple and feminine, perfect for layering, or just by itself, everything here is simply so minimalistic and lovely.

Susmie’s Collection

Susmie’s Collection is the perfect place if you’re looking for fun and classy jewellery at a good price point. Bright, bold designs with intricate details and colourful set stones, the pieces here are for sure on more of the statement side. I’m obsessed with these gorgeous La Mangüeleña earrings (second picture above) as well as most of their other jewellery. Based in Barcelona, the designs reflect the sunny, and artistic vibe of the city. The brand also offers a few clothing pieces as well as accessories, so be sure to go check those out too!

The Sage Vintage

A brand which has already grown in popularity is The Sage Vintage. The best way to describe the vibe here is “Alice in Wonderland”, with so many different options, colours, shapes and sizes, you’ll know what I mean if you take a look at their website. The perfect and (in my humble opinion) the best place to go for if you’re searching for charm necklaces or just single charms. With different charms in different shapes and sizes, you can make something that is truly unique and personal. With Charm necklaces and bracelets growing in popularity, this is a great shop for super cute pieces (and you can always add to them!). On offer are also earrings and bracelets, all of which are just so cute. Although they offer mostly gold pieces, you can also find a few silver items and some vintage deadstock too!

Lankri’s

Last but not least on my list is Lankri’s, a Miami-based brand with a deep history and connection to jewellery. With a mission to evoke inspiration and pass on a passion for tradition and jewellery, they offer stunning jewellery, from earrings, necklaces, and bracelets to hair accessories. With adorable designs and lots of charms to create your own styles, there is definitely something for everyone here. My personal favourites are the Crocodile Earrings as well as their Lucky Charm Bracelet. The Jewellery here is offered in silver and in gold for most (if not all) of their styles.
